Ole Miss has basically signed players in December and gotten transfers from the portal, so National Signing Day is not very active for the Rebels.  The Rebels signed 17 HS and JUCO prospects in December and have gotten 13 transfers, which includes Malik Heath from today.  They have 32 sports, so now they have 3 remaining, but technically they have 4 spots since Bryson Hurst is not counted due to his ineligibility (academics).  

Some other prospects to watch are LSU's Deion Smith (WR) and possibly USC's Bru McCoy (NT).  Another one to watch is Auburn's redshirt junior wide receiver Ja'Varrius Johnson.  He may be filing paperwork to enter the NCAA transfer portal, but is not officially in yet. If he gets in the transfer portal Ole Miss may become heavily involved in recruiting him and could be his favored landing spot. Johnson had 19 catches for 274 yards and a pair of touchdowns for the Tigers in 2021.
