from FCS( 1-AA I still call it) Incarnate Word ( in San Antonio)

Of course me having played at Sam Houston ( crapped the bed yesterday and lost) I watch and keep up with FCS football closely.  Ward being in the same conference last year and playing against Sam this year in the playoffs, I have kept up with ward closely.

Finalist for the Walter Payton Award as best player in FCS.  Big 6'3" 235.   Has ran the air raid at IWU the past 2 years with Eric Morris as his HC, Morris was former OC at Texas Tech under Kingsbury. Morris played WR for Leach at Tech with Kingsbury as his QB.  Morris just left IWU to we the OC at Wash St.  All that to say Ward is familiar with running up tempo, quick decision offense.

I think he would great to come in and compete with Altmyer at qb.  he dost not have the prototypical throwing motion, but gets the job done. getting coached by Kiffin and whomever he hires as OC/QB coach will help also with that.
Kid was a true Soph this year, so he has at least 3 year to play. Either a RS year and 2 on the field, or 3 with covid. I still dont know how all that works..lol
