Re: Lebby to Oklahoma is pretty much a done deal.

Hopefully, they will make the hire or announcement today and stop the drama.  Ole Miss either needs to move on quickly to get a quality OC or know that Lebby will be in Oxford for another season. On another note, it is good to know that we have coaches who are wanted by other teams.  This was very rare during the Mutt, Freeze, and Fluke eras.  Do y'all remember any coaches getting hired away during that time?

Florida wanted Freeze but we paid him to stay.
Longo was hired away to UNC.
Those are the only ones that I remember.

Not a lot of experience as OC there imo , but a legacy name I guess. Still hoping the OU deal falls apart

Re: Lebby to Oklahoma is pretty much a done deal.

Legacy is true, but was youngest OC in D1 history at 24 years old at FAU under Kiffin, spent a few years at Bama with Lane. Grew up in it. He is 28-29 now, would fit in well. As i have said before, anyone that Lane hies as a OC is a Co-OC with him. It's a collaborative effort.
