First time since '92. We played sloppy but got the win. I don't like our chances against State, to be honest.

Me either — offense has been sputtering in the second half for a few games now — defense is hit or miss…played well against TAMU but not great against Vandy.
A loss would still put us at 9-3; first time over .500 since 2015.

We only allowed 1 TD yesterday. The D has been doing awesome even if they bend a bit. The offense was out of sync, probably because they likely spent more time last week preparing for MSU than Vandy. Also, some players came back from injury and they just need to practice with Corral. Kiffin said as much.

I expected us to be very conservative against Vandy. But I honestly hoped we could manhandle them better just on talent. Doesn’t matter if we beat state though.

Doesn't matter? What planet are you from?
Our defense is playing better than we did last year but we still can't contain. Our pursuit to the ball carrier is usually off, we still miss too many tackles and we give receivers way too much cushion. If we do that Thursday, they will eat our lunch and send us to bed hungry.

I agree with you. We have looked very sloppy the last few games and we will almost certainly get beat if we play the same way. But I say that it doesn’t matter IF we do beat state.
