Reading a few threads on The Spirit board I am continually amazed at how stupid fans can be. There are actually a LOT of people posting in defense of Porter and saying the kid is a diva/brat for calling Porter out for lying.  Said he should call Porter and apologize to him..

Lets play along for a min, if he did have the quote from a "stringer" and the kid admitted in his first tweet about it that he had given Porter his number, then why not call the kid yourself for a interview.

any of you guys that are members there, go ask that question on why he didnt cal the kid since he had his number.  he had his number before he wrote the article.I have seen a lot of questions asked over there, but none gets to the heart of the matter like, if you had his number before you wrote the article, why did you not call him?

Lane isn't gonna be happy at all about this - when a "journalist" (using that term loosely) starts making recruits upset, then that is hurting the program unnecessarily. Yancy needs to be sent a message that his bullcrap won't be tolerated.
