This is my prediction and the reasons why Ole Miss will lose. I hope I'm wrong.
- Southern wants the game more
- Ole Miss has been playing at a level to barely win
- If it were not for errors by FSU, then that game would have been a loss
- It's a typical Bianco scenario, flop in the regional, and another year at home
- OMAHA (Ole Miss at home again)

That was some sloppy ball playing last night. I feel if Mike wins today he keeps his job. If he loses he's gone. Who knows.

I would be surprised if Bianco is in any danger of losing his job (although, he should be). I think he'll point out the youth on the team and the injuries, and that'll buy him another year. One thing that is glaringly obvious is we are in trouble when it comes to starting pitching next year. I did see where we had a transfer from another program (Texas A&M-Corpus Christie's ace John Gaddis). But, we won't really have a true ace unless someone suddenly emerges to be that guy.

We can't hit (sure we have a couple of guys but) and we swing at way too many bad pitches. We have digressed this year in pitching, base running, we can't bunt or defend against one. We need a pitching coach and one that can truly be a hitting instructor. we need base running 101...
Bianco doesn't know how to manage his pitchers. He invariable either puts in the wrong guy and doesn't know "when" to pull one.

Its wash, rinse, repeat with Bianco. He has done a lot to elevate the Ole Miss baseball program, but he cannot consistently compete for championships. He has only one trip to Omaha and seems to flounder when it comes to the hard part of the schedule. If Ole Miss were to let Bianco go, there could be a year or two of bad seasons, but look at Tennessee. They took a chance, had some bad seasons, and are not on the top of the ratings. Carter needs to make a decision, but one thing for sure, Bianco is not going to change.

I can see your point but hes had the tools to work with for 20 previous years and he still couldn't get it done.

Its all about being good enough for Ole Miss. Bianco has Ole Miss good enough at baseball. No need to take a chance on going backwards with a coaching change. Nevermind that with the right guy, we could actually win championships.

You are soooooo right!!!!! Ole Miss never takes chances until the stadium is empty, at which point it's not really a chance.

Thank goodness, I was wrong, but the Rebels did almost blow a 9 run lead. Arizona will not be a pushover, so the Rebels better get ready for a tough regional.
