    Rebs lose elimination game 3-2

    I’m disappointed because I wanted the chance to see what we could do vs UT —but regardless, I have to say the pitching was pretty impressive this week, especially considering the pitching struggles throughout the season, including losing Hoglund:

    Bad play in the outfield. And one bad pitch in the first inning.

    This run in the SEC Tournament will almost guarantee Bianco the maximum extension and a raise.  Now the Rebels have a chance to make up for their drop-off in performance during SEC play.  If the team can get to Omaha and win a few games, then the bad feelings about the drop-offs should diminish.  Bianco performs best when his back is against the wall and he is sitting on a keg of dynamite!!!

    To keep it balanced - our pitching improved so our hitting drops off and as usual, we always find a way to  diminish our scoring opportunities by making foolish decisions in our base-running.
