Well, I don't know about predictions but I witnessed the most pitiful display of baseball this evening that I've seen in quite some time. I've seen all of our home games and we are digressing fast...

The Rebels almost got swept at home by a subpar LSU team. Ole Miss was just lucky to win on Sunday. They had a dismal performance and will be fortunate to be at .500 in SEC by the end of the season.
The South Carolina Gamecocks come to Oxford for a series with the Rebels. South Carolina has gotten hot when it counts and have earned a top 25 national ranking. Rebel fans may disappointed in the play by the Diamond Rebs this weekend as the Gamecocks most likley take the series or even sweep the Rebels.

In a surprising series, Ole Miss swept a hot SC team. Although the Rebels swept SC, they remain a middle of the pack team in the SEC. They are also not in the NCAA Baseball Top 10. Next week Ole Miss travels to College Station to play TAMU. This could be a chance for the Rebels to get another sweep to better their SEC record. Rebel fans know this is Bianco ball, so they should not get too excited and expect a miraculous turn around.

Ole Miss pulls a Bianco and gives one of the lowest-rated teams in the SEC a series win.
Next Up: Vanderbilt
Look for the Commodores to dominate the Rebels and possibly get a sweep.

Ole Miss pulls a second week of Bianco's to get a series win against a #2 rated Vanderbilt team. This was very surprising and was expected to be possibly getting swept by a top team.
Prediction to date: 5-7
Actual Prediction to Date: 7-5
The predictions are a mirror image of the actuals.
Next Up: Georgia
Can the Rebels win another SEC series? It will be interesting to see, but it would not be out of the realm for Ole Miss to lose the series 1-2. This year the Rebels have made a habit of losing series to lower rated teams.
