It would likely slow it down even more....If they go beyond the normal timeframe, as it appears they will, to hand down their ruling then it's just another way to screw us....knowing we can't get even a warm body to apply for the job until the penalties are known....IOW they aren't through with their unofficial punishment yet (see the 5 year colonoscopy).  They set out to destroy our program and they're delaying IMO to prolong the death by torturing us as much as humanly possible.....

And another thing.... We know the school to the south is behind a large part of this....I want them hammered.  I am sick and damn tired of our administration ignoring them and refusing to defend us.  I want to see us go after them unmercifully.  And I'm sick of all that crap about just wait....it's coming..... Yeah, sure....Check's in the mail.

When I was in school I had a poster that hung on my wall....it was of 2 buzzards sitting on a perch with a dead cow in the background....one of the buzzards looks at the other and says "Patience my ass....let's kills SOMETHING".....

Mullen to Florida is a perfect fit.  
He can remind them of how he made Tebow into the monster he was at Florida and he has Dak and Fitz to show as proof he can do it at moou.  Pretty strong statement.  
Not like Florida is going to attract a top tier coach this time after firing McElwain the way they did.  That will leave a mark which makes hiring Mullen even more likely.  
They have been waiting on this opportunity and Mc gave them the golden egg so they could part ways.
