Lynnette Johnson
=18pxJohnson has announced her retirement effective May 1, concluding a 32-year tenure with the university. She spent her first nine years as an athletic trainer and the last 23 as the senior woman administrator, including the final three as deputy athletics director.
I have a ton of things I could say with he handling of the women's programs

Thinking about it a little more, with the way the world is and way some of the leadership positions esp at OM, it may get worse

I still want to know what the story was being Smith getting pushed out like that. It seems like there was some sort of pressure from parents being upset their kid wasn't playing, and Johnson got involved. Our softball program certainly took a nose dive after that ordeal.
But you're right - never know what other screws we can do at this point. WAOM

Smith was my mom's next door neighbor in Oxford. He was a great guy and a great family man.

The players really seemed to love the guy. Johnson straight up railroaded his career - based on what I've heard anyways.
