Mississippi State is having a conference call with the SEC on Tuesday. The SEC & the MSU President are very upset with Leach. There are rumors that both Leach and AD John Cohen could be out at MSU. Stay tuned.

Re: Tweet from Jim Shute

Moo U got what they wanted when they pulled the trigger to hire Leach.  Because Ole Miss fired their HC and hired Lane Kiffin, Moo U had to do the same by firing their coach and hiring a name coach.  If Moo U fires Leach, it will be a mistake.  Leach has the potential to be a good coach at Moo U.  The problem is that Moo U wants instant success and cannot stand Ole Miss taking a lead on them.

If Leach is fired, he probably has a nice buyout.  Once thing for sure is that Moo U better make sure everything is legally correct when dealing with Leach.  He has a law degree and surely knows how to work with the legal system.

I don’t know about that guy - he’s the one who did a live broadcast of Jevan Snead’s funeral.

Re: Tweet from Jim Shute

Leach is probably looking to find a way to get fired so he can just retire to the keys.

Re: Tweet from Jim Shute

State might try to say they are firing him with cause bc of his and his team’s conduct.  Either way, state is getting what they deserve bc of the ultimate little brother move.

Look at the difference between our rivalry and any other big time rivalry.  Anyone else whose rival has success doubles down to catch up.  State has always just tried to tear us down when we take a step ahead of them.

Leach is good for them. They would be stupid to let him go.

Re: Tweet from Jim Shute

If State fires Leach after only one season, then that is not a good sign for any other potential coaches.  These coaches would see the craziness of coaching at Moo U and hopefully withdraw their name from any search.  One thing for sure is that they would want to ensure they have a beneficial buyout clause in their contract.  Little Brother just keeps being little brother.

And keep proving why they are. If state would just take care of their own business and stop trying to undermine Ole Miss, maybe they could earn some respect.
