Can a coach prevent a certain official from calling his games, or did Bear wield that much influence?
P.S. Felt SEC announcer, Jordan Rodgers, was as biased toward MSU as some of the officiating!
Most likely the Bear had that much influence to keep a referee from calling his games. Now most of the refs are from Alabama and pledge allegiance to the Alabama schools, so the bad officiating will continue and nothing will be done to stop it. One note on Bear's influence is that he was able to keep Alabama from playing Ole Miss during the highlight of Johnny Vaught's career. The Bear knew that at that time Ole Miss would probably beat Alabama.
Jordan Rodgers went to Vanderbilt and playd QB in 2011-2012. This would be a reason why he would despise Ole Miss. He was certainly biased in his commentating. His actions are unprofessional, but in today's world, he will be backed by the media to continue the hate Ole Miss trend.

Jourdan Rodgers and that other guy both should have been decked out in maroon and white. Should have been waving pom poms or a cow bell for good measure.
