- Barry Odom formulated a defense to stop Ole Miss
- The Hogs players wanted the game more
- Ole Miss just does not play well in Fayetteville (2-10 since 1994)
- Corral should have been benched after the 2nd INT
- 2 missed TDs on 4th and goal would have tied the game and the PTAs would have won the game
