So I may be taking a break from all sports until 2021... Or 2022. That's if I come back at all. I stopped watching the NFL after their "protests" and I found I don't miss it at all.
Ole Miss, Oklahoma march for social justice

If we win 4 games this year, I hope these kids enjoyed the social justice warrior pat on the back they keep giving themselves.
The selective outrage is truly wearing thin. The people protesting don’t give one shit about equality or eliminating injustice. If they did, it would not be about “police brutality “, it would be about a culture that requires constant police presence and countless interaction every day. And to only give a shit when the media piles up cherry picked incidents in which almost every time, the frame In Which the media portrays the incident is criminally inaccurate.
Yet the 30+ people who Antifa and BLM have killed over the last 3 months and the billions of dollars in loss these riots have caused or the countless incidents like this go on noticed by the same kids?
Seriously, everything outside my faith, family and loved ones will continue to get less of my time or effort

I just had a falling out with a guy posting the march on Instagram. When i asked him if these players are marching for the 5 year old that got his brains blew out by a black man or is this a one way street. Theyre picking and choosing their injustice to fit their political agenda. If you want to be taken seriously you have to point all of them out. Not lay in wait until the one you like comes along so you can go out and raise hell.

Evil comes in all forms, people who only want to acknowledge the potential issues of some and not the potential of all, are making the problems worse.
There are instances of police brutality. But the media has amplified these instances with only part of the story
Yet these stories never make the nationa news

Y'all are right. Don't get out and do the things most of these folks have done, like assault, looting, robbery, drug dealing, etc. they have a laundry list of crimes they have committed, they bring attention to themselves, the police react, they resist or try to assault the police. Even a simpleton knows not to combat the police, if you do, what do you think is going to happen?

These actions by the various football teams will show how the season will unfold. It will be full of incidents where social justice is the main focus. Teams will probably kneel, wear some band, or do something to focus on social injustice. They don't understand that if you are confronted by the police you need to comply, not resist arrest, or attempt to do anything where they police might think you have or are getting a weapon. How would these players feel if they got back to practice, their lockers were cleaned out, their scholarship was pulled, and they were told to either pay their own way or go home? If the football players can't play football without distractions, then there is no doubt that many fans will become disenchanted and find other things to do besides support college football.

The incident linked is truly sad and most likely it will get little or no mass media coverage. This is a prime example of the savagery exemplified by these perps who are being honored for being their so called mistreatment. It is surprising that there was not a protest or public outcry to release the perp.

It should be extremely hard to have a sports department without the support of fans and alumni. This team has just about sunk to the bottom for me. I don't care about the basketball program, don't watch it, and could care less what happens. I don't watch pro sports. OM Football has about reached that low mark also. Good riddance - get some coaches and players that have some integrity and common sense. Right now I believe they have MULE sense because they don't have enough IQ to recognize common sense. They are educated far beyond their intelligence. Same goes for the Chancellor and the rest of that liberal faculty. My pocketbook has dried up permanently.

It sure looks like Lane is letting the tail wag the dog. Once it gets going hes going to have a problem on his hands.

This may a lesson he learned from his mentor (?) "Little Nicky" Saban who is on video over here in AL marching with his team.
