Where does Ole Miss pull in with latest SEC recruiting budgets?

Ole Miss spent $704,836 on football recruiting during the fiscal year 2017-2018, according to the latest numbers obtained by USA Today.

That figure ranks 12th among the 13 SEC institutions reporting. Vanderbilt is a private institution and does not release its numbers. The average amount spent by SEC programs on recruiting during that period was $1.3 million.

Ole Miss finished 10th in the SEC and 32nd in the nation with 2018 recruiting class. The class featured quarterback Matt Corral, wide receiver Elijah Moore and junior college running back Scottie Phillips.

Travel for coaches and official visits for recruits, including destinations, frequency and means, appears to be a major factor in rising recruiting budgets and varies from program to program.
