Once you start down this road there’s never an end. Already, changing the state flag isn’t enough. Wolkien has quickly moved onto changing the name. The chic fil a ceo wants us to shine black lives matter shoes. Where does it end?
I don’t think it does end. I think we are headed for another civil war.

It won't matter what is done, it will never be enough. No matter how much is given, they will always want more. There is no satisfying them by concessions, because they will never be content with what they have or are given.
As for a civil war, I am not sure how that could evolve, but there could be lots of civil unrest. Militants and entitled people will do what they want and take what they want. This could me your possessions and life.

After Yale University had been telling people how racist they are now Yale is under fire. Thats how you put a stop to this bs. Like pouring water on a robot.
NEW HAVEN — Yale University has come under fire Saturday through tweets pointing out the university was named after Elihu Yale, a slave trader.
The hashtag “#CancelYale” started trending nationwide on Twitter.
In one tweet, from Jesse Kelly, around 12:30 p.m. Saturday, he said he called on Yale to “change its name immediately and strip the name of Yale from every building, piece of paper, and merchandise. Otherwise, they hate Black people. #CancelYale”
By about 6:30 p.m., the tweet by Kelly — an Iraq War veteran and former GOP congressional candidate — had been retweeted more than 17,000 times and liked nearly 40 thousand times.
The university’s director of media relations declined to comment.

What these people don't understand is that what happened in the past is history. You learn from history and work to move forward without creating the same mistakes.
Now if you want to start erasing history, what about WWII and the persecution of the Jews? The holocaust was a dark moment in history and focused on the genocide of a specific race. Since Wolken is Jewish he should consider how things would be if the holocaust were forgotten.
Having slaves to help with tasks was normal before the evolution of machines. Almost every culture had slaves. Often slaves were nations who were conquered by a domineering nation. In other cases slaves were bought and sold on an open market. The market that brought slaves to America were instigated by Africans who conquered other Africans and sold them to the Dutch, who then sold them around the world.
The descendants of American slavery should be happy that they ended up in the USA. If they were still in Africa, then they might be fighting disease, starvation, and avoiding animals and groups of people who kill. There is no doubt that that time was brutal, but the world was a different place then.
Lots of positive progress has been made over the past fifty years for race relations. There are many blacks in crucial political offices, black actors and actresses, black athletes, black CEOs, and the list could go on for more high profile positions in society.
People have to realize they are responsible for their destiny and they are the ones who have to work to get where they want and what they want. One problem with hard work is that most everyone just wants things handed to them. We cannot be responsible for what someone did over 100 years ago, but we can learn from the past and move forward in a positive manner.

These far left militants want to do away with everything to do with America. They've been waiting on a vehicle to get them going and that was George Floyd. And they'll ride this in the name of social justice destroying everything to do with America in their way. It's never been about Floyd and black lives, if it were , blm would have been in Chicago today marching over 100 black people shot in a gun free zone. So they'll keep picking and choosing the right narrative to keep this narrative going. And that's a white cop killing a black person. Although 19 unarmed whites died to 9 blacks died last year , you wont hear about it.

I use to be in your face political for my own ideals. But over time, I realized that you don't win hearts and minds of people who are not paying attention. People don't pay attention because they just don't get into politics or ideology. That is why the left has taken over the media. Specially the NBC/ABC/CBS type news where they deliver ideology using a monotone, matter of fact bias that to the people who leisurely watch news. These people watch cherry picked information to make the left look sane and the right look like a fringe nutgroup.
We have access to so much information but we are about as disconnected from reality as it comes. I have just found that as the left and their friends in the media spew their far left ideals, the right does not have the constructive ability to counter. The problem is we have to do it constructively because in a group of 100 people, the 1 person acting a fool will be in the camera and the 99 will be painted with the same brush. While the left, when they riot and loot and burn cities to the ground, it is justified
I was watching a video of some white guy working at Macy's. A pair of black dudes decided to beat the crap out of the guy. Macy's has been running around flouting their virtue with BLM support and has all but left this poor white dude to hang out to dry because either they are afraid to hold 2 thugs accountable for their actions or worse, they believe the white employee should just take it for the social justice team..
We all have our faults, we all have our issues. But at some point, society sees the error of their ways and we try to correct the path. I see no self correction, I see a progressive mass continuing to build up with no end to the destructive ideals. How to explain and get people to realize this is the trick today. The best I can figure is trying to do so in a consistent constructive manor and the people are tired of riding the crazy train I hope will realize where the common sense has been and at that point, the credibility and track record of being constructive will win you hearts and minds. I fall short of the consistency because I do get fed up. But if more people tried, talk with your friends and neighbors, highlight the crazy without bringing your own pitch fork and at some point, we will make major progress at getting back to reality
