I was badmouthing Davis the other day, so I'll be the first to congratulate him today.  I think he had just about lost his team, but give him credit for them playing really well now.

Plus Kermit's Dad coached at Walnut in the 1950s.  Walnut is about six miles north of Falkner, which is about seven miles north Ripley, which is about 25 miles north of New Albany, which is about 25 miles west  of Tupelo.  Falkner was named after William Clark Falkner who is the great grandfather of William.  William spent some time in Ripley when he as a child.  His grandfather, a lawyer, was on the losing end of a gun duel in the 1880s.
