I've always liked Coach O. I met him at an event in Meridian shortly after he got hired. The guy is very passionate about what he does and not a single person out there will ever out work the guy. As much as I hate LSU, I was happy for him to get that NC and huge contract. It wasn't that long ago that many LSU fans were openly talking about if they made a mistake hiring him.

On Slick - that jackass did everything he could to slam Orgeron and Ole Miss. I remember reading where recruits themselves had mentioned the hit stories that Neal was relentlessly writing. Even more baffling is that Ole Miss fans are paying for him to make a living. It would be akin to Wolken joining the Ole Miss Rivals site and fans continuing to sub. The day I found out Dave had left, I canceled my subscription.

But back to Orgeron. I think that him getting fired from Ole Miss was one of the best things that could happen to him. He learned what all he did wrong and completely changed his approach. While he was recruiting very well, his players were burned out and were overworked. He took a hard look at what he did wrong, made a plan on how to correct those things, and has grown into a very good HC.

Our fans are idiots for the most part.
