I just got out of the tree stand and saw on Twitter where he was offered. Was about to get on here and ask you your thoughts on the young man.

I see the gurus predict him to us strongly but I can't find confirmation.

Hopefully Ole Miss will have lots more good surprises for recruiting.

Now! We got him!

We've been spoiled over the years at QB. Bo (until he hurt his shoulder), Swag, and Ta'amu. Hoping someone steps up their game and we'd actually have someone that can be a passing threat, day 1.
Plumlee playing baseball is gonna hurt him, and I can see him being moved into a different position. His accuracy isn't good at all and needs a ton of coaching and reps.
Corral has serious issues with his mechanics that I'm hoping can be fixed. I saw him miss some wide open receivers. He also needs to stop thinking he's Johnny Football and be more secure with the ball.
Tisdale is a bit of an unknown since he had such limited opportunities. That pass in the Bama game was on the money and showed more touch than either Plumlee or Corral.
Renfroe, I have no clue. I only saw video on his 7-7 and he was locked into his receiver every time with a slow looking release. I need to watch more tape on him.

I think Lane will make Corral a high NFL draft choice.Of course there are a ton of reasons's Lane took the OM job, but Matt was one of those Remember Lane recruited Matt back in the day to Bama when Matt was a Soph and Jr in HS at Westlake Villiage where USC had signed many studs. This was before the wuss Wayne Gretzky and his kid got Matt ran off from there and he went to Long Beach Poly.
But adding Renfo is great.
I do not have much expectation for Tisdale, watched him all thru his HS career. He is a system guy that played in a unreal HS program. I was hoping he would have stayed in the transfer portal to give Lane another spot. You notice Tisdale went to Lane to tell him he wasnt transferring the 1st day lane was here. I dont blame Lane for keeping his as when you first get to a place, you have to become familiar with the roster and depth. I wouldnt be surprised to see Tisdale still transfer after the spring semester when he sees he is 3rd-4th on the depth chart, even with Plumlee playiing baseball this spring. I wouldn't worry so much with Plumlee's accuracy right now. With Lane and Lebby, he will get coached up.

I think Corral's issues can be fixed and that is where the coaching comes in. Our WRs did not do a good job creating separation either. I'm not upset about Peeler moving on.
I did not see any progress with the QBs this season. That 2 QB system is a terrible idea and one that shouldn't last more than a couple of games at max. It's the lazy way of doing things.

Boy Rock, I sure hope you are right about Corral, that would greatly change the offensive dynamics. I'd be for putting Plumlee all over the field, getting the ball in his hands, and letting him do what he does - make plays.

agree, think of Saints backup QB Taysom Hill when you think about just a few of the possibilities with Plumlee.
Not kickoff team, etc. but all the various offensive sets with him.
