If it wasn’t Sexton it would be some other agent. He just happens to be one of the best, and his clients are some of the very best athletes and coaches. Schools can choose not to deal with him. It’s their choice.

Ed Orgeron didn’t “fit in” at Ole Miss when he was HC here because he was nowhere near ready to be a head coach. As for Richard Scruggs, he has plenty of money, but that doesn’t make him a college football coaching expert.

Jerry Jones is a prime example. Look at Arkansas and the Cowboys.
