This is worse than losing the game. The internet and sports boards are blowing up over the "ironic" way we lost the game.

Yes,t is everywhere. Well known sports media writers and announcers are all tweeting about it.
I posted this on another thread. Chuck posted this post game, and the fans are blasting him and Carter big time.
“We may as well move on to another subject or plan your future accordingly as a Reb fan. Also, based on how the contract was drawn up, he has four years on the foundation part of his contract and three on his state portion. I will not debate what I have just written. This info is from Keith Carter immediately postgame.”

Does that sound like an ultimatum to the fans? Sad.

Yep, the GOBs don't give a damn about winning or selling tickets. It's all about access. They'd rather burn it to the ground than to ever give up control again.

There is something I do not understand about the contract and it is that in the past we were only allowed a maximum of 4 years contract due to state laws. Now someone is saying he has 4 years on the foundation and 3 years on the state. This does not make sense and a good explanation is due, but the bad thing about the explanation is that it will most likely be some sort of concocted lie.
Realistic Ole Miss fans better face the fact that Ole Miss is not and will not get any better. The GOBs are in control and will remain in control. If you want to have a winning team, then you might want to change your team affiliation because Ole Miss will remain subpar for as long as Luke is the HC. Anyone who knows anything about football should see that Luke was not a successful position coach, so why would he be a successful head coach.

I'm curious how that contract is legal in this state. Having a contract that automatically renews surely violates states law. If Luke is returned, I'm gonna look closely into this and if it looks like it's in violation, maybe get the state's AG involved.

We deserve all of the scorn and ridicule we get for what happened last night. We have no one to blame but ourselves.

I'm looking into how a FOI request works in this state to see if I can get details on Luke's contract.

You could always contact Rosebowl!!! There is no doubt he knows how to do this!
