Carter isn’t some new guy on the block. He knows exactly what’s happened and where we are. Having said that:
1. Carter should have no contract. He is an unknown untrained commodity and merits none.
2. Carter not firing Luke is understandable if no one is willing to put up the money. That’s not Carter’s fault.
3. If Carter renews Luke’s contract for another 4 years, he should be fired on the spot.

Honestly, I think this goes back to the Forward Rebels campaign. It took public shaming to remove Pete Boone and break up the GOB control of the program. What we see seeing, IMO, is that the GOBs have dug in an reclaimed control and would rather burn the entire program down than to lose control again.
With Keith, I think he could be a good AD. But keep in mind all AD candidates were told that Luke could not be touched - handcuffing any AD from being able to do their job. I don't buy the excuse that money is the issue, as the University will lose more money by not firing him due to the apathy in the fanbase today.
It is what it is. I simply don't really care anymore. College football is a product that universities sell to make money. When the administration knows that the product sucks and is hated by the consumer (us fans), then why should we continue to buy it? I simply won't. There are better ways for me to spend my time and money. Once the University gets serious, then I'll take another look. Otherwise, it's not worth my time - I dislike the product, it's not fun, and just brings misery into my life.
