1. At least he knows Ole Miss!
2. If he got us the Purdue and Conneticut games, that a plus.
3. It very well could have been worse.

Everyone knew he'd get the AD position.. Hopefully he'll shit-can Luke.

It's now up to Keith to win acceptance by doing the job in a competent manner. One positive is that he's an Ole Miss grad and has worked at the University--especially in fund raising. He knows our history, culture and the challenges we face moving forward. Everybody seems to hate on Chancellor Boyce, but he has two degrees from Ole Miss and his three daughters all graduated from OM. I think that is plus, but--like Keith--he has to win acceptance by doing his job in a competent manner.

No surprise here. This is part of the do nothing master plan. Carter is a friend of Luke. The GOBs decided many months ago that they’d make Carter the AD. If Carter had been promoted to the position (removing the interim) months ago then there would have been great pressure on Carter by the fan base (non GOBs) to fire Luke. By waiting until the season was over they have removed that pressure from Carter and bought Luke another season because Carter can act like he hasn’t had time to make a move like that.
We are headed to the cellar for the foreseeable future.

the reality is, we have no control as internet fans. So I have basically given up. the last 3 years has tested my support where for the first time in decades, i watched or attended every game I could. The last 3 years there have been weekends I specifically planned to do everything but watch the game. judging by the stands, that is a common thread. Carter knows that money will come if the product on the field warrants support. He also better know this has nothing to do with the kids. We all support the kids, even when we are critical. But the administration had better stop doing the kids a disservice by not demanding more of our coaches in order to make the most of the experience and opportunities of our kids while they are here.
My gut tells me KC is trying to do the right thing. If he is able to do the what he needs to do as AD without being constrained is to be seen. All apart of the perception the administration has created

If Luke returns, that's it for me with Ole Miss football.

Same here. It really is that simple. We should not have to destroy all aspects of the program before someone is held accountable. That is the direction that it is going. Ole Miss is not winning any PR awards soon, especially not with its own fans and alumni.

Don't count on Carter firing Luke. Luke, Boyce, and Carter were hand selected by the GOBs and are all puppets on a string. Luke will remain at Ole Miss until he decides to leave. Boyce will keep his stolen money for hiring himself as chancellor. Carter will do what he is told and simply go along with the GOB master plan, which is ruing Ole Miss football.

Carter has gone ahead and said Luke will be back. I am completely done with Ole Miss football.
