Fluke needs to be embarrased by Moo U even if he is retained for the 2020 season. His hire was political and he has the right people backing him in order to keep his job. He has been overpaid and paid well for his time at Ole Miss. He simply needs to retire because most likely no other school would hire him, even as a position coach, except Cutcliffe. If Ole Miss wins, Moorehead probably gets canned, and Luke supporters will crow about the win. If Moo U wins, Moorehead might get another year, and Luke stays regardless. I am for Ole Miss, but losing to Moo U this year would not hurt my feelings, especially if it were a big score loss.

I'm pretty sure that we will win this game.

It's already been decided that Matt is going to be back as HC in 2020. There's talk that he'll be on a "short leash" next season and must produce, i.e., get Ole Miss to a bowl game. I don't buy any of that. Matt is backed by a bunch of outside influence peddlers who want to keep control of the program, and they'll do that as long as Matt is HC. Wins and losses are meaningless to these folks. We've heard nothing concerning athletics from the new Chancellor, and we don't have a permanent AD in place. The whole situation is hot mess now, and I don't know when it will get better.

Well, y'all have fun with next season, if he is still our coach on January 1, I will do away with everything Ole Miss and move on with my life. There's no excuse to having him come back next year.
