He is coming back either way.  If I was luke, I would play a load of our young guys this week.  I would save my stars a bit, get our 2nd stringers a lot of play time against LSU and get ready to play state.  The state game has to be a big win.  It is the biggest game of his career because if he loses, it puts him in a hole that he simply can’t get out of.

He should be toast no matter what happens in the State game. We got ourselves into this situation by basing his hire off of this one game. I would have thought people would have learned their lesson.

Luke's sorry ass needs to be fired no matter what happens with one single game. Our program is in shambles. Wait for several kids to leave the team after season. I swear, I'm starting to hate Luke on a personal level at this point. He needs to step down like AK did.

If you know of someone who is a winner who would come, great, but if we have to go fishing again. NO! Don't need that kind of reject plus about 6 mil out the window. We may still be paying Nutt!

Bill Clark would crawl across the state of Alabama on broken glass to come here. Anyone would be a huge upgrade over Hodor.

Re: Man, we can't do anything quickly, can we?

Supposedly, there is a clause in Fluke's contract that automatically renews him each year while Ole Miss is on probation.  If that is the case, then Ole Miss is stuck with Fluke for the unforeseeable future.  It is just ashamed that no one at Ole Miss wants to be a winner and produce championship caliber football teams.

His buyout after this season would be around 6.5 million.

Re: Man, we can't do anything quickly, can we?

Anybody that thinks we will replace like after this season is dreaming.  Maybe if we would have lost to a winless New Mexico State.  Even then, the people who pushed him into the position and paid him double his worth would have fought to keep him around.

Freeze took us bowling on year 1. This lardo couldn't year one but is hoping for a 5 win bowl. Disgusting.

Re: Man, we can't do anything quickly, can we?

According to some other boards, a new AD should be named the end of November. Interviews are moving quickly now. I’m just passing this on for what little it might be worth.

Any top candidates mentioned?  It seems like there should be quite a few since Ole Miss used a seach firm to do a national search!!?????!
