LSU NCAA Matters

It is ironic how LSU is preseason top ranked, now #1, and this whole season the controversial matter involving an LSU alumni stealing money from a childrens' hospital fund and paying it to LSU related prospects is being swept under the rug.  This is a whole different media perspective when Ole Miss was under the NCAA microscope when reporters like Dan Wouldben and Steve Rosebutt were continually keeping matters stirred.

Allegedly, Former LSU booster John Paul Funes gave James Alexander, the father of former LSU offensive lineman, Vadal Alexander $180,000 as a part of his scheme to defraud Our Lady of the Lake. Funes also gave $107,000 to the family of Rohan Davey.  These diverted funds were intended for patients of the Children’s Hospital, Lady of the Lakes (CLICK FOR SOURCE).

This is just another matter possibly where either the NCAA chooses to turn its back, the media does not run with the story, or LSU uses its influence to divert negative publicity on itself.  Meanwhile in Oxford, Ole Miss tries to play nice and be helpful only to find itself in a big mess which resulted in the hiring of an inferior head football coach.

Re: LSU NCAA Matters

LSU's AD is married to Emmett's daughter, right? That's why nothing will happen to LSU. You've got their basketball coach, on a recording, admitting to paying recruits. Then this whole funneling money intended for kids with cancer to players.... There's certainly a double standard.

LSU is one of the “Teflon” schools when it comes to the NCAA. You will never see the NCAA come down hard on them no matter how serious the violation.

Here's something else to add to it - why is there media not talking about it? If this were Ole Miss, we would have gotten the DP from this and it would be talked about constantly. However, nobody is writing or publishing anything about this. It's mind boggling.

Their media has enough sense not to throw gasoline on a flame.  On the other case, MS outlet medias are very divided and many want to provide negative stories on Ole Miss. LSU will squash this matter or make it very minuscule.

But we got rid of Dixie, the flag, Col Rebel, that statues and gargled with listerine. Why dont they like us? We did exactly as the ordered.
