Seems to be a meltdown occurring on various sites...if it is Carter, I actually don’t have a big problem with it. It’s not like when they hired Boone who had no type of experience.
I guess some folks just don’t want someone who’s an Ole Miss alumnus — and I get the frustrations, but with Carter I think you have to look at what he brings to the table as far as experience.

So how much did Ole Miss spend (uhm . . . waste) on a search committee/firm only to find their candidate under their nose? If Carter promptly fires Luke, then he has my full support.

If it is Carter, I hope he makes Luke take a seat beside him as he signs his contract.

Whatever the situation, if Luke is given a contract extension, then whoever gives it needs to be fired. Sadly enough, it will probably happen, along with a substantial raise. As usual Ole Miss would continue the trend of shooting itself in the foot.

What other sites? I haven't seen this.

I think this is just McCready trying to drum up business for his little website.

McCready is such a snake in the grass and I'll never understand how anyone can claim to be an Ole Miss fan and give that guy money.
Remember when he was in Mobile and hammered Ole Miss during the Coach O years with hit piece after hit piece? It was so bad that recruits even mentioned it - and it hurt Coach O's recruiting. Funny enough, he was praising O the other day on Twitter. The guy hates Ole Miss. The reasoning I've been told it's he was rejected for a position at Ole Miss awhile back and he never forgave Ole Miss for it.
He stirred the pot during draft day with Tunsil, costing us dearly. His actions caused the NCAA to take a second look at us and caused them to really hammer us.
Yet, so many fans are happy to throw money at him and support him. It's the weirdest case of Stockholm Syndrome that I've ever seen. The guy has intentionally gone out of his way to hurt this program - and people seem to turn a blind eye to that.

I haven't seen anything about Keith being named AD or even being the front runner at this point. Can someone share the source for the "smoke" that he is.

It was on Rivals. No news at all just a feeling by McCready. It really is about drumming up subs for his site.

It's more than McCready. Carter has a lot of inside support. I'll be shocked if he's not it.
