Re: Rebels get Moral Victory in Q1

The near wins with Cal and Mo are losing prestige weekly. TAM isn't exactly on fire either.

Re: Rebels get Moral Victory in Q1

But, but, but those are big names and we almost won.  It shows improvement and that Fluke is only getting better.  If he had not had to sign Rich Rod as OC, and could have gotten Will Hall like he wanted, then Fluke would have won.  Its RR's fault and he was forced on Fluke's staff!!!  Fluke is getting better and will be the next John H. Vaught.  Just wait and see!!!

Re: Rebels get Moral Victory in Q1

There is an important group spinning the improvement propaganda...i.e. players played hard..can see improvement..young...going to be a force to reckon with in the future....yada yada yada.   Luke is doing what he needs to do - keep it close - another $3MM+ in the bank on the way.   Cha ching.

I turned the game off.  Just read we ran the ball on 19 of 20 first downs in the first 3 quarters.  Rich Rod ain't impressing me.

Re: Rebels get Moral Victory in Q1

I think the Grove is a detriment to Ole Miss when it comes to our program. Too many people don't care about the game, yet have enough influence on hires, when all they care about is socializing amongst their friends. It's also that same group that bitches if you stand up and yell during the game.
