We can't pickup the game.

We are up 24-6. Defense looks good. Plumlee is running well passing ok.But we opened it up in 3rd with a 70 yard run by Ealy and an 80 yard run by Snoop. So not a lot of real long consistent drives. And of course it is Vandy and they look down from what they have been the Last few years.

I’ve watched most of the game. We are a zero trick pony. We can’t pass the ball and our OL can’t run block. Our QB ran into a td and we broke two long runs in 3rd qt. Our D looks pretty good but I honestly think it is bc Vandy is so bad.
I hate to pull against us but I think we need to just do whatever we have to do to get rid of like ASAP.

Wow!!!! Ole Miss is dominating Vanderbilt!!!!

It was one of the most unsatisfying 24 point wins
I love the running game
The passing game is not there but he’ll, jrp is in his second game
Defense did great and I hope they will just get better
Next week is about as huge as it gets for Luke to win any favor with the fan base. Mizz has a hurt qb and if we are going to have a chance at a bowl, you have to steal this one

If we can get to 6 wins that will help alot of things in itself. In recruiting and a bowl game experience.

Yes, and winning 6 games to get to a bowl will also help Fluke maintain his job. As long as Fluke is the HC at Ole Miss, Ole Miss will never be seriously competitive. Ole Miss needs a serious cleansing of the athletic department and football coaching staff.
Coaches come and coaches go, but finding a quality coach who wants to stay at Ole Miss will be a hard job to accomplish. So who is a successful coach that was an alumni? Think outside the box, who is a quality coach that would come and stay? In order for the coach to stay, he has to be treated right and given free reign without outside political GOB interference.
A prime example of an outsider at a school who is satisfied with his job is Nick Saban. Nick does a great job coaching and does not take any grief from the Alabama GOBs. They know if they make him mad, then he will leave. Also with Alabama, they have learned that outside interference does not help the program.
At Ole Miss being a part of the team and status quo is what its all about for many donors. They simply want access to the program. This is one big fact that has held Ole Miss back from being championship caliber. Fluke is not the answer for a seriously competitive football team, and change is desperately needed, but will not happen due to the politics of Ole Miss.

I love playing devils advocate. You knocked that one out of the park catfish.

It is better for us to get blown out in every game until Luke is gone than it is for us to worry about limping to any 6 win bowl game.
