Positive - We actually won the first and fourth quarter on the scoreboard against likely the #1 team in the nation.
Negative - We still looked very Cutcliffe'ish at times.

Luke supporters will hang their hat on this psychological win. They will announce that Luke is on the upswing, just give him more time. Now Luke and staff will get ready for a possible win against Vanderbilt! Could they win against Vanderbilt become one of Fluke's signature wins?

Compared to the last couple years, we showed slight improvement. If we relearn how to wrap up and tackle we would be even better.
Plumlee did well, but I hope some practice will help his accuracy.
We scored more than I thought but they scored 14 more than I hoped.
LSU and au are going to be more of the same unless we improve our tackling and start being more physical
Bama did look like they dialed it back a little but they left their first team to in longer

Hahhahaha. Bama rolled up 28 in the 2nd quarter. They could have put another 21 on us if Saban had wanted to. This was Steve Sloan redux.

It is surprising that Saban did not put 21 points on Ole Miss. He usually beats the line so that he can make the Bummer betting faithful happy. Ole Miss may have shown some improvement, but not enough to be a winner. Playing Vanderbilt will be a good break and give the Rebels a chance for a win, but then again, Vanderbilt usually plays Ole Miss tough and circles the game pre-season as a potential win for them.

They already are. I have already seen Facebook posts. "The fact we hung 31 on Bama proves we are on the upswing" Just wait. Sorry but I gave up believing in moral victories a long time ago. Gonna be a long year or years.

It will be YEARS not YEAR. As long as Luke is HC at Ole Miss, the Ole Miss football team will continue to be everyone's choice for homecoming opponent. You can be assured that Saban was giving play time to everyone, including the waterboy.

Don't think for a minute that Saban was doing us any courtesy. He wants to embarrass Ole Miss all he can.
BTW: Talking about "re-branding" OLE MISS, those two ass-hats<Danielson and that other twerp kept referring to the land shark defense... Everybody has bought in to changing us. The script M, land shark this and that, fins up, down and inside out. Shove the shark!

I would pay Ole Miss to get ride of that stupid shark costume. Just freaky looking, and not in a good way.
