I've gotten caught up in a bunch of new shows this fall, with varying results.
The Gifted - Fox's X-Men sequel series, very good series so far, lives up to it's X-men roots.
The Inhumans - ABC's latest Marvel series, I loved Anson Mount in Hell On Wheels, but this show was a disappointment.
Shannara Chronicles - I was a huge fan of the books, the show is watchable, but doesn't do the books justice.
Designated Survivor - what could they do after the 1st season?  It's still a good show, but it has had trouble building a plot arc.
The Orville - Easily the gem of the fall!  Despite being an obvious knock-off of Star Trek (they don't even try to hide it), this is a great Sci-Fi show with a wicked sense of humor.
The Walking Dead - this season was highly anticipated, but it started slow.  Things are starting to get interesting now.
Bosch (Amazon Prime) - Favorite cop show!  We just finished season 3, and it keeps getting better.  Season 4 should be epic.
Defenders (Netflix) - I watched the 4 series leading into this super-team series, it is good but it builds a little slow considering that the characters should be fully introduced to the viewer by now.
I'm looking forward to the new season of Vikings starting this week.

I started some new shows recently which are promising, anyone else find some new shows?
* Knightfall - another great History Channel historical drama.
* Counterpart - just started this week on Starz, interesting setting and very good 1st episode.
* The Alienist - Been waiting for this one, also started this week.  Dark, but great 1st episode.
