For now . . .

I am tired of Ole Miss not wanting to be a contender or a championship team.  Ole Miss has held itself back for years and continues to so with Matt Luke as head football coach.  The administration and GOB network does not help anything either.  Ole Miss  fans will just have to get used to being a lower tier team, everyone's desired homecoming opponent, and a punching bag for the other teams.  Although I will keep up with sports at Ole Miss, I am just not excited or avid about things.  Right now I just don't care and really don't have a reason to care because I feel the current administration is not proactively seeking to create a championship caliber sports environment.

Re: For now . . .

Next week, when we run into the Bama buzz saw,  we will take Bama to the second quarter with a score of something like 10 to 7. Then all hell would break loose and the rest of the game will be a slaughter. We will lose the game 47 to 7 and all those who still support Luke, will hang their hat on the 1 good quarter

It truly pisses me off how cynical and full of hate and dread but I’ve become

And after we beat them those 2 years, Bama and CBS likes to make sure the whole world can see when they massacre us.

Show me someone who doesn't care if they win or lose and I will show you a loser.

Re: For now . . .

If the SEC was all about parity and making sure revenue was shared more appropriately, those assholes will stop picking the top three teams to put on these primetime slots every week. That’s the reason why the rest of the league can’t keep up because they’re constantly on the high dollar timeslots.

I hate the SEC, I hate the NCAA, I despise Birmingham, and right now the ihl continues to screw our university Because in another month it will be about a year that we’ve been without a full time chancellor. And then it’ll be another 3 to 6 months before we find a new athletic director. Every single step that we’ve taken has been paid back with interest from the powers that be who dared u because in another month it will be about a year that we’ve been without a full time chancellor. And then it’ll be another 3 to 6 months before we find a new athletic director. Every single step that we’ve taken has been paid back with interest from the powers that be because we challenged the status quo

I live in Alabama. They still believe that Saban's never been defeated twice in a row.

The IHL will continue to hold Ole Miss back because of the politics involved.  Getting out of the IHL and forming their own Board of Trustees would be the best thing for Ole Miss.

I don't understand why we haven't already done so.  Screw the IHL and the horse they rode in on.

Re: For now . . .

I can't tell you how much I enjoyed turning the television off on Saturday after the game and then hopping on the boat and taking my son wake boarding.  Not missing it at all.

If they ever clean out the cesspool down there I will return.  That includes tolerating professors who promote assaulting U.S. Senators.  My children have been telling me that Ole Miss isn't the Ole Miss I knew.  They are correct.
