Does anyone know what the plan is since the party decks apparently failed inspection and they had to take them down? Just wondering if the NEZ is gonna look like a construction zone on Saturday.

I read somewhere that they were going to do one big general admission party area with shade. I don't have details but I'm guessing that they are going to try to put up some kind of awning.

Seems that every plan they announce for the NEZ ends up being something altogether different in the end.

Gee, I wonder why it failed. That looks like something a 5th grader would build with his erector set. Unbelievable.

Why can't they think outside the box and coat the underside with ceramic spray insulation and coat the top with non-reflective paint? That would eliminate the heat complaint for the most part. You will still get hot from the sun but it wouldn't reflect the heat like aluminum foil. I'm sure students would still complain because they are entitled little twerps but you would eliminate one major argument from their list of grievances.

Something tells me, that in the end, the NEZ will end up being completely rebuilt.

It seems like everything this administration does results in failure. You can be assured that if the decks fell, it would be major news and probably blamed on Col. Rebel and the South.

If they think 3 hours of beer swilling revenue from some kids to lazy to carry in a flak is going to fix their $$ woes, spending millions on the NEZ to accommodate is prob a bad idea.
