    Season Prediction Thread - Congrats Winners

    Let's make a friendly wager on the season predictions. I'll anchor this thread for the season. If you win, you get a congratulations thread; nothing more, but it should be fun. This is aside from Catfish's typical Pick-em game as that would progress as the season goes. I'll close the thread on Aug 30. You can change your predictions until Aug 30 but not after that point.

    Simply copy the schedule below and put a W or L to the right of the game listed and then add a line for your predicted record.

    Here's my guess. We are so incredibly young in so many positions, first time starter at QB, new systems on both sides of the ball....

    My expectations are low with a possible 4-8 or 5-7 year.  Below are three wins that are potential and there may be an upset somewhere. 

    Aug 31 - @ Memphis - L
    Sep 7 - Arkansas - L
    Sep 14 - SE LA - W
    Sep 21 - California - L
    Sep 28 - @ Alabama - L
    Oct 5 - Vanderbilt - W
    Oct 12 - @ Mizzou - L
    Oct 19 - Texas A&M - L
    Nov 2 - @ Auburn - L
    Nov 9 - NM State - W
    Nov 16 - LSU - L
    Nov 28 - @ MSU - L

    Predicted Record - 4-8

    The Rebels might get lucky and beat either Memphis, California, Arkansas, Missouri, or Moo U, but not all of them, which could yield up to four wins for the season.

    Even though the Rebels have a losing season, fans still say "wait til next year" and "Ole Miss always wins the party!"  Truthfully they win the party because they are drinking their sorrows away!

    After the season Luke comments, "We are still rebuilding and continue to be severely affected by the NCAA investigation.  We need a few more years to get where we need to be."  Meanwhile Fluke supporters crow about him being the next Johnny Vaught while Fluke plans a celebration and smiles as he goes to the bank to cash his multi-million dollar check with a guaranteed raise!

    I am only this optimistic because of the hiring of Rich Rod and Mac. Not are they just solid hires, I think they are homerun hires.

    The best I can see is 6-6 more realistically is 4-8 or 5-7 "Oh Woe Is Me"
