20/20 had a good documentary on Jim & Tammy Faye Bakker and the PTL last night — at least I thought it was pretty good.

Those two were as crooked as they come — I actually felt a bit of sympathy for Tammy Faye, but she knew what they were doing billing all those people and building themselves a theme park and buying those expensive cars and other stuff.

I guess I didn’t realize the Bakkers and Jimmy Swaggart had a feud that was so public.

Funny thing is Jim Bakker is still around , still peddling stuff and lining his pockets, if not as much these days. Guess sometimes a leopard doesn’t change his spots.
