I don't understand it. I hate the Republicans more than most people, but I hate the Democrats more. I see the GOP as useless and corrupt. I see Democrats the same but tack on abusive, power hungry, and they have an illogical and insane platform. I don't understand why anyone thinks that the answer to current problems is more government. If anything, we need to strip the government back to what it was prior to Lincoln.

Forty + years of progressive indoctrination in the school systems have yielded a Moonbat culture who really believe the big lie that everything can be free.....that and the removal of Judeo/Christian influence which removes any judgmental aspects on secularists so that they've been able to turn societal norms on their head.....what used to be evil, deviant or frowned on is now virtuous and those things that used to be good are now vilified..... If you look at the Communist plan to subvert a society you'll find they strive to destroy a society from within by removing all vestiges of patriotic, moral, and religious beliefs.....
The democrat party is a collection of every deviant behavior that used to be societal taboos..... People who vote for them condone that behavior....The spirit behind that is the same one who lured Adam and Eve to commit the first sin... The democrats are no longer trying to hide their desire for socialism....and as Lenin said "the goal of socialism is Communism".....
As to Republicans I see them for the most part as sniveling weasels who are willing to "compromise" their values to avoid a political fight. So in essence they stand for nothing and when you stand for nothing you'll fall for anything. They remind me of the GOBs at OM......whatever it takes to stay in power or influential they will do....the ends justify the means.....

One thing I find very disturbing about either party is that each had their own agenda. Something I read today indicated that the Dems now control the House so they could keep Trump in check and block his actions to better the country. Whatever happened to both parties working together to make things better for EVERY CITIZEN in the United States? I thought elected officials were supposed to work for the betterment of the country, not fight against each other and push their parties agenda.

Let's just hope that the congressional split stalls the government out completely. We don't need any more laws. We have enough. They just need to roll some back. That never happens so a stalled out government is the best we can hope for.
One more thing... The GOP had 2 years to pass through some sweeping "right wing" change and they sat on their ass and for the most part, passed the same kinds of bills that Obama had early on. They are a terrible party and as a true conservative, I hate the GOP. I wish the Libertarian party would pick up more popularity because their stance on a VERY limited government is what I would like to move toward.

I have some libertarian leanings myself in that I like to be left alone....but the problem I have with pure libertarians is that they are extremely naive...thinking that if we just retreat inside fortress America we will be safe.... World war 1 & Pearl Harbor dispels that nonsense as does 9-11 most recently.

guys, politicians are a product of the voting public. we can point and talk crap but we allowed it to happen. Some of the worst campaigners are the best representatives and likewise, the best campaigners are the worst representatives.
The media has destroyed reality and people keep throwing their money at cable tv, movies, DVDs, music, etc. Stop. Cut your cable tomorrow. Do not go to another movie, do not buy another song, do not spend another dollar on the entertainment industry. I watched Solo yesterday and was just so disgusted at all the progressive social justice warrior agendas.
There are so many well intentioned people who want to represent people and do what's right. But I have seen even the most "conservative" voter jump up and scream when something THEY want is affected.
I was talking to a reporter yesterday regarding the election. He was trying to get people's thoughts on the potential "blue wave", i told him i did not see anything to the extent that is hoped by the left, but I did ask him a few things. Out of all the democrat controlled states and cities, where have they ever solved poverty, homelessness, income inequality, crime, etc??? NO WHERE. in fact, the deeper blue an area is, the deeper the issues they claim to champion are.
I live in a deep red county but the last 5 years I have seen a larger population of liberals moving in throwing a fit about why we don't have "pick your progressive talking point" and demands we do it. This is why we have so much sprawl. People move out, build a high quality of life somewhere else, others then jump on the bandwagon like a parasite and wonders why what was once a healthy and thriving place turns to crap. The more progressive policies kills progress, the excuse is the initiatives just were not big or bold enough and that is why if failed.
For the right, people have to start being more constructive in how they address issues. Stop pounding your fist and start communicating. I was working a polling location yesterday and some dude walked up to the liberal sign holder and started to scream at her how that candidate was destroying everything, even yelled at the 8 yr old daughter standing with her mother. It was sickening and the local media jumped all over that story and issues like this gets painted across the entire republican side. Never mind during the primaries, a known liberal professor verbally attached a 78 year old republican candidate in the presence of countless people. Not one breath of it was reported or cared about.
again, it is because people don't hold the drivers of information accountable. The answer is simple. Stop buying news papers, stop going to their website, stop watching their programs and stop empowering their bias with your dollars. If reality was reported accurately, the democrat party would shrivel up and die or at least moderate. Which is the problem, the left does not have anything holding them accountable and they have been sprinting to the left for the last 30 years.
The right has it's own issues but there is at least people on the "right" that openly and often calls out their own side. The media always loves to highlight these republicans and will hold them up just as long as they stay a good tool. McCain, Romney and the like are perfect examples. THe media gives them great preference until they became the presidential candidate. They then turn on these people until their attacks are successful and these same progressive republicans will blame the "far right" for their failures and the media will welcome them right back on their bandwagon.
I use to be one of the worst offenders of reactive outrage. I would bitch at a drop of a hat and a lot of times, what I am yelling about was based off of inaccurate information. People need to question everything and constructively address issues. There is no quick fix to where we are, it will take years to address the damage to our society just as it has taken years to condition people to react. I am not saying the democrat party is 10000% wrong in everything they believe. I actually believe there needs to be healthy opposition in order to maintain perspective to not allow for runaway ideology. However, as I said, there is nothing holding the democrat party in check except for an informed public and that is driven by a progressive media which more times than not, are successful with selling narratives
