Re: Ole Miss Begins 3 Day Hearing

Hmmmm....6-8 weeks to decide..... Tell me lawyers are not in charge of this fiasco......Delay, delay, delay, delay,..

So I guess that 6-8 weeks gives them time to kick this thing down the road long enough to destroy another recruiting year...... this is sooooooooo transparent.  But I guess lil Nicky got what he wanted.....

Re: Ole Miss Begins 3 Day Hearing

From the article: Ole Miss’ fate will not be decided at the conclusion of the hearing. Once it’s complete, the committee will have six to eight weeks to announce what additional penalties it will add to those already self-imposed by the school.

It sounds like someone has already decided that additional penalties will be given to Ole Miss.

Re: Ole Miss Begins 3 Day Hearing

I don't see any logical reason for taking 6-8 weeks to decide something that should be decided on in 1-2 days.  Are they going to re-investigate after the hearing?  Are they going to re-write the rules while they decide on OM's faith?  Makes no sense.

Re: Ole Miss Begins 3 Day Hearing

Most likely they have already decided everything and dragging it out is part of the plan.  By dragging it out, Ole Miss gets bad publicity and keeps any good recruits from considering being a Rebel.  It does seem that a lot of the events were orchestrated to take a rising Rebel program down.
