If I am correct, Ole Miss has a date with the NCAA COI on Monday, 9/11/17. It will be interesting to see what happens in this meeting and the circus that has been created by the media about this matter. What do you think will be the outcome of this meeting? Do you think Moo U and Lewis will be exposed in any way? What about the money provided by other NCAA schools to Lewis? The saga continues . . .

I think everything Lewis says true or untrue will be used against OM. Hope I'm wrong but I think the NCAA gives him the benefit of the doubt no matter what. The NCAA will throw the book at us. Like I said, pray I'm wrong.

Supposedly the only questions that can be asked to Lewis are from the COI. You can be assured Lewis' lawyers have him trained for his answers. Since the COI is an arm of the NCAA, it would be hard to see them finding fault in their affiliated agency. It seems like this will just be a formality before providing penalties.

The only thing that can potentially save us is the COI knowing about RR's lawsuit. The last thing they want is for the NCAA to get ANOTHER blackeye after the Miama and Penn State faiscos. They are already on shaky ground right now, due to the investigators saying Leo wasn't reliable when he claimed that MSU paid him but he was in the Ole Miss paid him. I think if Terry didn't file a lawsuit, then we'd be royally screwed. But, I honestly believe his lawsuit will directly affect the COI's view on Lewis' testimony. If they say they believe him and we get hammered over it, and then it's proven in a court of law that Lewis lied - then that opens up a big lawsuit against not just the NCAA, but identifying individuals - such as Sheridan himself (who should have been fired several times already). Lewis' attorney, as well as MSU, have tried their best to get Lewis from having to appear before they COI. If he doesn't show, he loses his limited immunity. If the COI finds him to be a untrustworthy and not being 100% honest, then he loses his limited immunity.
And I fully understand that we're gonna get punished, in addition to the self imposed penalties. But it was the additional Lewis stuff that was added that made several Level 2 violations become upgraded to Level 1 violations, as well as the addition of LOIC charge. And that is exactly what Sheridan was after - that LOIC tag being added on. I'm not sure who at Ole Miss pissed of Sheridan, but he has had a hard on for nailing Ole Miss for awhile. They guy is scum, and I am hoping to see his name revealed as one of the John Doe's in the RR lawsuit.
If I understand the timeframes correctly, the COI would issue their ruling something like 1-2 weeks after the September 11th meeting.

One of only only two things will happen:
(1) The COI will rubber stamp the findings and recommendations of the investigators with no real consideration of the issues and evidence. This will confirm and enhance the COI's reputation as a kangaroo court.
(2) The COI will carefully, fairly and objectively weigh the issues and evidence presented by all parties and reach a consensus conclusion.
I have no idea down which road the COI will go.
