Re: Oh, was today signing day?

Right there with you Sooper and it’s hard because i care deeply about Ole Miss and want to see our school compete to be the best at everything. I’m not a quitter so seeing them make decisions like hiring Luke is hard to stomach. The minute it becomes tolerable I’m out because they will have succeeded in draining the life out of what is left in oxford.

Now watch this much anticipated 2019 class all sign somewhere not named Ole Miss.  You know the class mentioned as the reason we settled for Matt Luke.
...

You can be assured that every board school and any other school will be poaching MS in 2019, if the players are that good.  Most likely many Ole Miss fans will see some of the heralded recruits going to Alabama, Auburn, LSU, Florida State, and Florida.  Georgia might come pick up a few along with any other school that wants to sign these players.  If Luke does not have a good recruiting year next year, then there is no doubt that the program is set back a minimum of 5 years and maybe more if he stays.

Once again Ole Miss fails to capitalize on hiring a quality coach when they had to the chance to do it and move forward.  Meanwhile, Ole Miss faces several years of down time while Hugh Sleaze, the primary instigator for all of the troubles, is available to land on his feet tomorrow.

'Bow'.....my sentiments EXACTLY....  They ARE draining the life out of it...conditioning the lemmings to be happy with middle of the pack results....makes their job easier since those kind of results don't require nearly as much effort and competence to deliver on.....Low expectations don't require a winner.....just accept the notion of being good losers....and so long as they see themselves as being competitive (their definition of competitive seems more about not getting blown out).....they're perfectly happy and those who want to compete can go elsewhere....because when they go they take high expectations with them.....
